Increasing System Capacity and Reliability for Long-Term Water Treatment Performance

This project delivers critical upgrades to the water treatment facility’s disinfection and conveyance infrastructure. Scope includes construction of a new chlorine contact chamber along with wellheads for three new injection wells, expanding the facility’s treatment and injection capacity.

To improve system-wide flow management, a 72-inch interconnect pipeline links the north and south sides of the effluent loop, complete with a dedicated vault housing a flowmeter for accurate monitoring. A 108-inch PCCP line conveys filtered effluent from the filter effluent flume directly to the Chlorine Contact Chamber influent pipe, ensuring efficient transfer through the disinfection process.

The project also includes associated yard piping, along with comprehensive site civil grading and drainage improvements to support the new infrastructure and maintain proper site drainage.
