South District WWTP Substations

Expanding Power Capacity and Reliability

This project delivers critical electrical infrastructure upgrades at the South District Wastewater Treatment Plant (SDWWTP), reinforcing the plant’s power capacity and long-term reliability. The scope includes the construction of two new substations, 5-6 and 15-16, along with the redistribution of electrical loads from existing substations to support increased demand.

Work also includes the design and installation of all ductbank routing throughout the facility, as well as the furnishing and installation of feeders, 13.2 kV-480 volt (V) transformers, and switchgear. Together, these upgrades strengthen the electrical backbone of the plant, ensuring continued operational resilience for this essential public infrastructure asset.
